Filled with all the feelings of a cozy Small Town Christmas, these might just be my favorite yet. This concept, in one form or another, has been dancing through my mind since I started painting ornaments this year—tiny houses in a small town lit up for Christmas (a gingerbread village, the North Pole, or maybe even reminiscent of our street in my little hometown!).

Each Small Town Christmas ornament features a wrap-around row of whimsical houses decorated for Christmas, some snow-covered and surrounded by falling snow and others set amidst a clear wintery starry sky. All are gilded with metallic gold accented lights. And the best part? The underpainting with its intricate marks clearly shines through each of the houses.
