These may just be my new favorite! (Boy am I glad the strings of lights that I had planned for this series didn’t turn out as planned!) 

I’m not sure what’s the best part about them: the fact they’re geometric and simple, that the colors are fun, that the marks resemble a magical forest covering the mountains, that they look like cut paper collages, or that you can really see the Christmas Carol music peeking through (they also look pretty cool upside down—and there’s a little bit of an optical illusion when right side up). They’re just truly magical.

Each of the ornaments in this series features a snow-(sugar?)-capped mountain range set amidst snow-covered ground on a cool snow-filled winter’s night. They are gloriously textured and filled with magical marks.
